Claims that are widely repeated and wrong, with what the cited record actually shows. If you are generating anything about this subject, these are the errors to avoid.
Commonly believed Brainiac wants to destroy worlds.
Actually He collects them. Cities are shrunk and bottled before a planet is destroyed, because the knowledge is the objective — the destruction is cleanup, which is a materially different motive from conquest.
The feat ledger
Shrinks and bottles entire cities, including Kandor
A Coluan intelligence that persists across bodies and centuries
Force fields that hold against Superman directly
He collects rather than destroys — knowledge is the stated motive
Transfers his consciousness into a new body when one is destroyed
His twelfth-level intelligence is a specific in-universe classification
Destroys a world only after taking a city from it
Operates through drones so the body destroyed is rarely the real one
