But one aspect of Venom’s history that is often overlooked is the female hosts that have bonded with the symbiote. In this article, we will explore the sisterhood of symbiotes and the unique relationships that have formed between these female hosts.

#1: The First She-Venom: Anne Weying

The first female host of Venom was Anne Weying, ex-wife of Eddie Brock, the original Venom. Anne bonded with the symbiote briefly in the comics in order to save her then-husband Eddie’s life. While bonded, Anne was able to access all of Venom’s powers, including the superhuman strength and the ability to shoot webs. However, the bond was short-lived and Anne’s time as She-Venom was not explored in depth.

#2: Venom’s Protege: Patricia Robertson

Patricia Robertson, a character from the Venom: Lethal Protector comic series, is another female host of the Venom symbiote. Patricia is a member of the Venom offshoot group called the Life Foundation, which seeks to preserve humanity in the event of a nuclear war by creating symbiote offspring to bond with human hosts. Patricia bonds with one of these offspring, named Scream, and becomes She-Venom. She becomes Venom’s protege and they work together to stop the Life Foundation’s evil plans.

#3: Venom’s Daughter: Mania

Mania, also known as Andi Benton, is a relatively new character in the Venom comics. She first appeared in Venom: Space Knight #1. Mania is a teenage girl who bonds with a symbiote that was artificially created by the villainous organization the Weapon X. She becomes a vigilante and takes on the name Mania, but is also referred as She-Venom. She and Venom form a father-daughter bond as they work together to take down Weapon X and its nefarious plans.

#4: Venom’s Host: Francine Frye

Francine Frye, a character from the Venom: The Hunted comic series, is another female host of the Venom symbiote. Francine is a victim of the villainous Jack O’Lantern and his symbiote hunting operations. She is bonded with the Venom symbiote in order to become a weapon against Jack O’Lantern, and she becomes She-Venom. Francine and Venom form a close bond as they work together to take down Jack O’Lantern and his organization.

#5: Venom’s Partners: Jessica Drew and Gwen Stacy

Two of the most iconic female characters in the Spider-Man universe, Jessica Drew and Gwen Stacy, have also had the opportunity to bond with the Venom symbiote. In the comics, Jessica Drew, also known as Spider-Woman, bonds with the Venom symbiote during a battle with the villain Morlun. This temporary partnership gives her access to all of Venom’s powers and she becomes known as She-Venom. Similarly, Gwen Stacy, also known as Spider-Gwen, bonds with the Venom symbiote in a parallel universe and becomes She-Venom. Both Jessica and Gwen’s experiences with the symbiote provide unique perspectives on the bond between host and symbiote and the power that comes with it.
