Straight Into a Fight With the Reavers
After the game’s own ESRB rating card, the trailer jumps right into combat. Wolverine, in his feral gold-and-brown costume, tears into Bolivar Trask’s armored Reavers, first in a burning forest and then in an industrial junkyard. It’s the same claws-first combat Insomniac showed at the June 2, 2026 State of Play.
Sabretooth, Then a Quiet Cabin at Dusk
Next, a blond, heavily muscled figure grapples Logan while he’s in human form. The confirmed cast list names this as Sabretooth, voiced by Brett Gipson.
Then things get quiet: Logan, in flannel and a cowboy hat, walks alone toward a lit cabin at dusk before a hard cut to the first of two MARVEL WOLVERINE title cards.
Trask Finally Gets to Talk
Trask, the billionaire industrialist who’s the game’s villain, gets his longest dialogue scene in any Wolverine trailer yet, twice looking over glowing cyan and pink tablets that track mutant signatures. Then come his towering purple Sentinel robots, at full scale on a city street at night.
The New Bit: Wolverine’s Skeleton Lights Up
Mid-punch against one of Trask’s armored robots, Wolverine’s adamantium bones and claws flash up in blue X-ray wireframe for a single frame. It wasn’t in any of the three earlier trailers, and it’s the clearest sign yet that Insomniac wants to sell his healing factor and metal skeleton on screen, not just in dialogue.
Mystique, and Probably Omega Red
Mystique (blue skin, red hair, voiced by Nicole Pacent) shows up twice in a tech-lit control room. A grey-haired figure in red-and-black armor with metal gauntlet claws matches the design Marvel and Insomniac have used elsewhere for Omega Red, but the trailer never names him.
Jean Grey Finally Shows What She Can Do
The big one comes near the end: a red-haired woman’s eyes flare bright purple in extreme close-up, then a red energy blast rips down a city street.
Jean Grey (Krizia Bajos) has been in every trailer since June, but always in a supporting role with no powers on display. Nothing in the footage or Insomniac’s own materials says what sets this off.
