Marvel Rivals Night of Illusions has five escape-room puzzle chapters, and the fastest way through all of them is: Infirmary = Blue Candy, Scrapyard = 1982, Abandoned House = the completed dinosaur skeleton, Hall of Eternal Night = Arcane Fragment (top-left), Rusted Cross (top-right), Blood Moon Orb (bottom-right), Floating Candelabra (bottom-left), and Unknown Space = four identified files plus a repaired Hunting Rifle to finish the event.

Current as of patch version 20261029 (update 1.79), October 29, 2026. Night of Illusions runs through December 31, 2026 — if Marvel Rivals changes the puzzle answers in a later patch, check for a newer guide.

How Night of Illusions Works

Each of the five rooms hides several clues — notes, items, dialogue — that point toward one correct answer. Submit the wrong one and the game lets you try again, so there’s no penalty for guessing, but knowing the answer up front saves the ten minutes or so it takes to read every clue yourself. You don’t need to clear them in a single sitting; progress saves between chapters for the full October 29 – December 31, 2026 event window.

Room 1: Infirmary — Answer: Blue Candy

The room initially points you toward finding medicine, which is a red herring. Pick up the Red Vial from the small table on the left side of the room, then approach Nurse-Pool near the back and submit the Red Vial. Once that’s logged, talk to Nurse-Pool again and choose Blue Candy as your final answer to clear the room, per Insider Gaming’s chapter-by-chapter solutions.

Room 2: Scrapyard — Answer: 1982

This is the shortest room. Work through the Scrapyard’s clues to find a four-digit number, then enter 1982 into the keypad to move on. No item collection or dialogue choices are needed beyond finding the code.

Room 3: Abandoned House — Answer: The Completed Dinosaur Skeleton

Find the blueprints hidden in the house first — they show the full assembled shape you’re building toward. Once you have them, rearrange the puzzle blocks scattered around the room into a complete dinosaur skeleton matching the blueprint. The room clears automatically once every piece is in its correct slot.

Room 4: Hall of Eternal Night — Answer: Four Items, Four Corners

Corner Item
Upper left Arcane Fragment
Upper right Rusted Cross
Bottom right Blood Moon Orb
Bottom left Floating Candelabra
Hall of Eternal Night item placement, Marvel Rivals Night of Illusions

All four items are collectible somewhere in the room before you place them — there’s no trick to the placement itself once you have all four in hand, just match each one to its corner using the table above.

Room 5: Unknown Space — The Final Chapter

The last chapter puts Elsa Bloodstone through three tasks, confirmed by Beebom’s full answer list. First, identify four Illusion Files — the correct answers are Trash Panda, Skele-Saurus, Vampire King, and Nurse-Pool. Second, repair a Hunting Rifle using three parts: Blade’s Blessing, Bone Bullet, and Welding Torch. Third, use the repaired rifle to hit the room’s boss, Mr. Malignance, three times to finish the event and claim the final rewards.

What Do You Get for Finishing Night of Illusions?

Clearing the event’s rooms earns Gallery Cards, in-game Units, sprays and emotes. It’s separate from the Marvel Tōkon costume bundles for Iron Man and Storm, which are direct cosmetic purchases rather than puzzle rewards — see our Night of Illusions news coverage for what’s in those bundles. If you’re looking for hero picks while you work through the event, our Season 10.5 tier list is unaffected by this patch — no balance changes shipped alongside the event.
