Four cours, one arc: how to read the part numbering
Thousand-Year Blood War is one continuous story split into four cours, not four separate seasons. Part 1: The Blood Warfare ran in late 2022, Part 2: The Separation in 2023, Part 3: The Conflict in late 2024, and Part 4: The Calamity began on July 25, 2026. Episode numbering runs straight through, which is why Part 4’s opener is episode 41.

The dub runs a long way behind the sub, and that is the single most useful thing to know before you start. Hulu’s own series page lists four seasons and 91 entries because sub and dub episodes are counted separately, and the English broadcast of the earlier cours only caught up through Part 3 in 2026. If you are watching week-to-week, you are watching subtitled.

Part 4 is currently on a break: we reported that episodes 49 and 50 were pushed to October, which is why the last two rows above are marked as projected rather than confirmed. Forty-eight of the fifty episodes have aired.
