Premieres are listed in the order they air. Japanese broadcast times come from each show’s announcement, and the US column converts that broadcast time to Eastern time. Streaming services set their own posting times and can post after the broadcast, so check the service on premiere day.

The time-zone traps in this season’s listings
Three premieres are easy to put on the wrong day. Japanese TV lists late-night shows past midnight as 24:00-plus on the previous day, so Tokyo Revengers is announced for “October 2 at 25:53” — which is 1:53 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, in Japan, and 12:53 p.m. on Friday, October 2, in New York. Ranma ½‘s “October 3 at 24:55” is really early Sunday in Japan, and The Iceblade Sorcerer‘s 1:23 a.m. Thursday slot lands on Wednesday afternoon in the US. Anime News Network lists Tokyo Revengers as October 2; many seasonal grids list October 3. Both are describing the same broadcast.
The second trap arrives later. Japan does not use Daylight Saving Time, and the US ends it on November 1. From the first week of November, every show in the table streams one hour earlier on American clocks than it did in October, even though nothing moved in Japan.

Crunchyroll has the most titles, but Netflix has the widest mix of release styles. Steel Ball Run drops weekly on Fridays as a worldwide exclusive, Ranma ½ streams right after each Japanese broadcast, and Edgerunners 2 releases all 10 episodes on one day. If Netflix is your only anime service, you get weekly shows and a binge weekend in the same month.
The biggest Fall 2026 anime
The Apothecary Diaries season 3 airs Fridays at 11:00 p.m. JST on Nippon TV and Crunchyroll. It is split: the first cour runs this fall and the second returns in April 2027, with a film, The Deceased Empress’ Treasure, opening in Japan on December 11. Details are in our season 3 premiere report.
Black Clover season 2 returns on Saturday, October 3, at 11:00 p.m. JST on TV Tokyo, with Pierrot animating, Ayataka Tanemura directing and Crunchyroll streaming.
