Silo is ending, and the final season is going big. Apple TV dropped the first Silo Season 4 trailer on September 4, and it does something three seasons of the show never have: it takes us inside a different silo. Season 4, the last one, premieres July 9, 2027.

Final season? Yes
Starring Rebecca Ferguson as Juliette Nichols
Based on Hugh Howey’s Silo books (Wool, Shift, Dust)

It Starts With the Blast

If you were hoping the show would ease you back in, no such luck. After a quick, tearful close-up, the teaser jumps straight to a mushroom cloud rolling over open farmland. It’s the blast that ended Season 3, replayed as a flashback, and it’s a blunt reminder of just how much is at stake heading into the final chapter.

Silo 18 Learns It Isn’t Alone

Next we see a huge crowd packed into a hall inside Silo 18, all facing the same way. According to SlashFilm, this is where Paul Billings breaks the news to everyone: there are other silos out there, and one of them controls the rest. Imagine spending your whole life believing you’re the last people on Earth, then hearing that.

Another Silo, and It Looks Nothing Like Home

This is the moment fans will be pausing on. For three seasons, Silo 18 has been all rust, cables and grime. Then the trailer cuts to somewhere completely different: a spotless white hallway glowing blue, a lounge where people relax in front of a giant screen showing blue skies and mountains, and a sleek control room full of monitors.

The show has talked about other silos before, but this is the first time we’ve actually seen inside one, and the contrast with Silo 18 couldn’t be sharper.

Then Things Get Tense

The last stretch of the teaser picks up the pace fast. Someone raises a rifle, the screen flashes white, and two people sprint down a tunnel. There’s also a quick, hazy shot of someone standing in what could be open air or fog. It’s too brief to say for sure, but it’s the closest the trailer comes to showing the outside world.

Wait, Where’s Juliette?

Here’s the strangest part: we never get a clear look at Rebecca Ferguson’s Juliette in the whole trailer, even though she’s the heart of the show. Apple seems to be keeping her story under wraps for now. The trailer also doesn’t say whether the fancy new silo is the one in charge, or just another one under its thumb.
