The Re:Zero season 4 episode schedule runs weekly on Wednesdays. The Recapture Arc began on 12 August 2026 and covers eight episodes, closing out a 19-episode season that started back in April. Episodes air first on AT-X at 22:00 JST and stream internationally on Crunchyroll the same day, subtitled and dubbed.

Re:Zero season 4 Recapture Arc episode schedule
Season 4 is split into two named halves. The Loss Arc ran 11 episodes from 8 April to 17 June 2026. The Recapture Arc picked up on 12 August with eight more. Titles are confirmed only for episodes that have already aired — everything after that is the weekly Wednesday slot projected forward, which is how every schedule page works whether it says so or not.
| Season 4 episode | Series episode | Title | Air date (JST) | Status |

What time does Re:Zero season 4 come out?
Search this question and the trackers disagree — 9:00 a.m. ET, 10:00 a.m. ET and 10:30 a.m. ET are all in circulation, and none of them is a typo. The reason is that Re:Zero has three separate Japanese start times, and each English-language site is converting from a different one.
Here they are, straight off the official Re:Zero on-air page:
| Japanese outlet | Slot (JST) | US Eastern | US Pacific | UK |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AT-X — first airing anywhere | Wed 22:00 | Wed 9:00 a.m. EDT | Wed 6:00 a.m. PDT | Wed 2:00 p.m. BST |
| ABEMA / d Anime Store — fastest streaming | Wed 22:30 | Wed 9:30 a.m. EDT | Wed 6:30 a.m. PDT | Wed 2:30 p.m. BST |
| TOKYO MX — flagship terrestrial | Wed 23:00 | Wed 10:00 a.m. EDT | Wed 7:00 a.m. PDT | Wed 3:00 p.m. BST |
Two of those quoted times map exactly onto the table: 9:00 a.m. ET is AT-X, 10:00 a.m. ET is TOKYO MX. The third, 10:30 a.m. ET, is half an hour past the last Japanese slot — consistent with a simulcast that posts once the broadcast has finished rather than at a fixed clock time of its own.
So the practical rule is a window, not a minute. The episode exists somewhere in Japan from 9:00 a.m. ET and is generally up on Crunchyroll within about ninety minutes of that. If you are dodging spoilers, 9:00 a.m. ET Wednesday is when the internet becomes unsafe — not when your episode appears.

One more thing on that page that nobody outside Japan mentions: most Japanese streaming services are three days behind the rest of the world. Only ABEMA and d Anime Store carry the episode on Wednesday night. Everyone else — Netflix, Prime Video, U-NEXT, Hulu Japan, Disney+, Lemino, DMM TV, niconico and the rest of a very long list — starts from Saturday 22:30 JST. A viewer in Tokyo on Netflix is behind a viewer in Ohio on Crunchyroll.
Why the episode numbers disagree everywhere you look
The other reliable source of confusion. Re:Zero is numbered two ways at once, and both are correct:
- Season-internal numbering — the Recapture Arc premiere is “season 4, episode 12.”
- Whole-series numbering — the same episode is “episode 78,” counting continuously from the 2016 premiere.
Wikipedia lists both; most streaming guides pick one without saying which. That is why a search for “Re:Zero season 4 episode 13” and a search for “Re:Zero episode 79” return what look like two different episodes and are in fact the same episode. The table above gives you both columns so you can translate in either direction, and our Recapture Arc breakdown walks through what the split-cour structure means for the story.
There is a third wrinkle worth knowing if you watch on AT-X: the channel runs two repeat broadcasts every week, Fridays at 10:00 and Tuesdays at 16:00 JST. A Tuesday listing is last week’s episode, not a preview of the next one.
How many episodes is Re:Zero season 4?
Nineteen. The official site states the split explicitly — the Loss Arc is 11 episodes and the Recapture Arc is 8 — which is worth knowing because you will find sources claiming season 4 is 12 episodes, or that the Recapture Arc is its own season 5. Neither is right. It is one season in two broadcast halves, the same structure the show used for season 2.

| Half | Japanese name | Episodes | Ran / running |
|---|---|---|---|
| Part 1 | Loss Arc (喪失編) | 11 (season 1–11 / series 67–77) | 8 April – 17 June 2026 |
| Part 2 | Recapture Arc (奪還編) | 8 (season 12–19 / series 78–85) | From 12 August 2026 |
Season 4 adapts Arc 6 of Tappei Nagatsuki’s light novels — the Pleiades Watchtower storyline — across both halves.

| Japan — fastest streaming | ABEMA, d Anime Store | Wednesday 22:30 JST, ahead of terrestrial |
| Japan — everyone else | Netflix, Prime Video, U-NEXT, Disney+, and others | From Saturday 22:30 JST, three days later |

If you are catching up rather than keeping up, two of our guides pair with this one: our breakdown of the Recapture Arc explains what the second half is actually about, and Return by Death explained covers the mechanic the whole series runs on.
