Run the math on adaptation pace: at a common rate of roughly two manga chapters per episode, 24 episodes lands somewhere close to where those 49-plus published chapters currently stand. That’s a much tighter margin than the usual two-cour anime, which typically adapts a source with hundreds of chapters banked and years of runway before the show can catch up to the page.
