Two episode titles carry black blocks where a character’s name should be. That is the official title, not a rendering fault – the name is redacted in the episode’s own card.

Fifty episodes that are really about a hundred short missions
The episode count undersells how much is here, and the titles are the clue. Most Spy x Family episodes are not one story. They are two or three separate missions with their own title cards, stitched into a 24-minute block – which is why the rail above lists rows like “Yor’s Kitchen / The Informant’s Great Romance Plan” and, in one case, four segments in a single episode. Fifty episodes is closer to a hundred short comedies, and it explains why the show reads as light even when its plot is a Cold War espionage thriller with a body count.

It also explains the one genuine viewing decision. The spine – Loid’s Operation Strix, Yor’s work, Anya’s place at Eden Academy – advances in maybe a third of the segments; the rest are domestic comedy that is the actual reason the show was a phenomenon. Skipping the comedy to follow the plot is possible and is a mistake, because the plot is only tense when you care about the household, and the household is built in the segments that look skippable. Watch it in order and treat the slow ones as the point. Our Spy x Family watch order covers where Code: White sits, which is beside the series rather than inside it.

Where it stands: the television run is over. Season 3 ended on December 27, 2025 after thirteen episodes, closing a run that opened in April 2022. Wit Studio and CloverWorks co-produced all three seasons, Kazuhiro Furuhashi directed the first two and Yukiko Imai the third, and (K)now Name scored every episode – which is why three seasons made across four years sound like one show. The broadcast record has the season-by-season credits. Tatsuya Endo’s manga is still running, so more anime is plausible, but nothing has been announced, which makes fifty episodes a clean ending rather than a cliffhanger. If you want the other long shonen that is genuinely finished, our My Hero Academia guide is the one, and our Chainsaw Man guide is the opposite end of the tonal range on the same service.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I watch Spy x Family?
All three seasons stream on Crunchyroll in the US with a subscription, in Japanese with subtitles or in the English dub. Hulu and Netflix have also carried seasons in the US.
How many episodes of Spy x Family are there?
50 across three seasons: 25, twelve and thirteen. At about 24 minutes each that is roughly twenty hours.
Is Spy x Family finished?
The television run is. Season 3 ended on December 27, 2025. The manga is still running, so more anime is possible, but nothing has been announced.
Where does the film fit?
Spy x Family Code: White is an original story that sits between seasons and is a separate Crunchyroll listing. Nothing in the series depends on it.
Why do some episode titles have more than one name?
Because most episodes are built from two or three separate short missions, each with its own title card. The rail lists every segment in the episode.
