What changed for season 2
Season 2 is the first Peacemaker made inside the rebooted DCU. It premiered on August 21, 2025, weekly on Thursdays, and lands after Superman (2025) rather than after the 2021 film the show span out of.
Gunn again wrote every episode. The practical viewing note: season 2 assumes you remember how season 1 ended, so the finale of season 1 is the one episode worth rewatching first.
