You can watch My Adventures with Superman on HBO Max, which carries all three seasons, and on Adult Swim’s Toonami block, which airs new episodes first. Season 3 finished on 16 August 2026. A fourth season has not been ordered — and according to the showrunner that is not a ratings problem.

Where to watch My Adventures with Superman
There are two doors into this show in the United States, and they run on different clocks. Toonami broadcasts each episode first, late on Saturday night; HBO Max gets it shortly afterwards. If you are not chasing the premiere, HBO Max is the simpler answer — it is the only place with the complete run in one library.
| Where | What you get | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| HBO Max | All three seasons, complete | The default option. Subtitles and the English dub. |
| Adult Swim — Toonami block | New episodes first, on broadcast | Late Saturday night in the US. Seasons 2 and 3 premiered here. |
| International | Varies by territory | HBO Max where it operates; some regions carry it on Cartoon Network instead. Check locally. |
Every season, in order
There is no complicated watch order here. Three seasons, ten episodes each, released in story order. Thirty episodes in total.
| Season | Episodes | First aired | Finale |
|---|---|---|---|
| Season 1 | 10 | 7 July 2023 | 1 September 2023 |
| Season 2 | 10 | 26 May 2024 | 21 July 2024 |
| Season 3 | 10 | 14 June 2026 | 16 August 2026 |
That last point is the useful one. The show has already gone nearly two years between seasons once — twenty-three months from the season 2 finale to the season 3 premiere. A few quiet weeks after a finale is not evidence of anything.
Is there going to be a season 4?
Not yet, and the reason is more specific than the usual “awaiting renewal” boilerplate.
Showrunner Jake Wyatt addressed it directly in August 2026, and notably did not blame performance: “Views have been great! Our best ever. Our stakeholders — DC Studios, Adult Swim, HBOmax — have been great to the show. But each has to chart its own future in an uncertain, unstable climate.”
The climate in question is corporate. Warner Bros. is in the middle of a pending merger with Paramount that still has to clear a court case, and a show answering to three stakeholders inside that structure is not going to get a renewal decision until the structure settles. So the honest summary is: the show is performing at its best, and its future is waiting on a transaction that has nothing to do with it.
Wyatt has also said the team folded material planned for a fourth season into the closing episodes of season three. Read that how you like — it is either sensible insurance or a quiet acknowledgement that season three might have to work as an ending.

It is not part of James Gunn’s DCU, and that matters here
A point that trips up a lot of readers: My Adventures with Superman is not set in the same continuity as the live-action DC Universe that James Gunn and Peter Safran are building. It is its own animated timeline, often called the Adventureverse, with its own versions of Clark, Lois, Jimmy and Supergirl. Nothing in it feeds into the films, and nothing in the films constrains it.
That independence is why its situation is genuinely uncertain rather than merely slow. A show wired into a film slate has structural reasons to survive. This one has to justify itself on its own terms to three different stakeholders at once, which is exactly the position Wyatt described.
One more detail worth putting on the record, because no aggregator page mentions it. Studio Mir, the Korean studio behind The Legend of Korra, animated seasons one and two and gave the show the look people fell in love with. Season three was animated by Studio Grida instead. Studio Mir is attached to the Green Lantern spinoff below. Nobody has said those facts are connected, and they may not be — but the studio that defined this show’s house style is currently working on the offshoot rather than the parent.
The spinoff that is confirmed: My Adventures with Green Lantern
While season four waits, the Adventureverse is expanding sideways. My Adventures with Green Lantern is in development at DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, announced in February 2025, with Jake Wyatt executive producing and Studio Mir animating.
It centres on Jessica Cruz, a teenager recruited into the Green Lantern Corps, voiced by Auli’i Cravalho. Cruz is not a new arrival: she already appeared in season three, episode two of My Adventures with Superman, in the same timeline and with the same voice. The spinoff is a continuation, not a reboot.

There is no release date. The series has been described as being built in a shojo register — the reference points cited are closer to Sailor Moon than to the shonen influences (Dragon Ball, the old Toonami line-up) that shaped My Adventures with Superman.

Who voices the main cast
| Character | Voiced by |
|---|---|
| Clark Kent / Superman | Jack Quaid |
| Lois Lane | Alice Lee |
| Jimmy Olsen | Ishmel Sahid |
| Kara Zor-El / Supergirl | Kiana Madeira |
| Jessica Cruz / Green Lantern | Auli’i Cravalho |
The series is produced by Warner Bros. Animation with DC Studios, run by Jake Wyatt, Brendan Clogher and Josie Campbell.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I watch My Adventures with Superman?
All three seasons stream on HBO Max in the United States. New episodes air first on Adult Swim’s Toonami block on Saturday nights before arriving on HBO Max. International availability varies by region — HBO Max where it operates, Cartoon Network in some territories.
How many episodes of My Adventures with Superman are there?
Thirty. Three seasons of ten episodes each: season 1 in 2023, season 2 in 2024 and season 3 from 14 June to 16 August 2026.
Has My Adventures with Superman been renewed for season 4?
No. As of 20 August 2026 no fourth season has been ordered. Showrunner Jake Wyatt has said viewership is the show’s best ever, and attributed the delay to an unstable corporate climate — Warner Bros. has a merger with Paramount still working through the courts.
Is My Adventures with Superman part of the DCU?
No. It is a standalone animated continuity, sometimes called the Adventureverse, separate from the live-action DC Universe overseen by James Gunn and Peter Safran.
What is My Adventures with Green Lantern?
A confirmed spinoff in development at DC Studios and Warner Bros. Animation, following Jessica Cruz — voiced by Auli’i Cravalho, who already played the character in season 3 of My Adventures with Superman. Studio Mir animates. No release date has been announced.
Do I need to watch it in order?
Yes, but it is straightforward. The three seasons run in story order with no side material, so start at season 1, episode 1.
